So, a while back I edited this image, but I've recently decided to submit some photos to Photographer's Forum Magazine. I wanted to use this picture, but I wasn't convinced on how I have previously edited the image. This is the update an I am hugely thrilled with the outcome. It already has some great response on Flickr as well.

NIKKOR AF-S DX 35mm ƒ/1.8G

TOKYO –Nikon Corporation is pleased to announce the introduction of the DX-format 35mm single-focal-length lens AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G, which offers a picture angle equivalent to a focal length of 52.5mm in FX and 35mm formats.

The AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G features a large maximum aperture of f/1.8 enabling effortless handheld shooting in dark settings, such as a dimly lit room. This lens makes it easy to create large, beautiful blur effects. And the built-in Silent Wave Motor (SWM) ensures fast, quiet autofocus, even with SLR models that do not have a built-in motor, such as the D40 series and D60.

The AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G is the first single-focal-length lens with a normal picture angle developed exclusively for Nikon's DX format. It is a compact, lightweight model that achieves the high reproduction performance unique to single-focal-length lenses at an affordable price. This lens is most suitable for natural portrait and landscape shooting.

Due to selective breeding, Dragons have begun to exhibit rather distinctive colorations. These “designer” Dragons display brilliant hues of yellow, pastel oranges, violets, and reds. The most popular morphs thus far include the “Sand Fire” Dragons, which exhibits a bright red-orange color with black stripes. Also very popular is the “Citrus” morph, a brilliant yellow. A more unusual sub-breed is the leatherback, and another of that is the silk-back. These Dragons have reduced scales, creating a smoother appearance. Much like designer dogs, the price tags of these customized pets are many times the price of Dragons without a specific morph.

NEW LENS BABY!!!

Oh, so I'm so über excited about my new lens. It's a Nikon Nikkor AF-S Zoom 24-120mm ƒ/3.5-5.6G IF ED VRII. It's a perfect blend of wide angle (acts like a 36mm at the widest which is wonderful for portraits and 180mm at max range which is not too close, but close enough). I'm so happy with this lens and my favourite feature has to be the M/A mode. I can easily allow the camera to quickly autofocus on my selected focus point, and without switching to manual mode, I can grab the focus ring and adjust my focus if required. PERFECT!!!
